FROGS RULE

Many years ago the frogs who lived in Bogtown were very unhappy. Their home was a dirty, smelly, drain surrounded by noxious weeds. They formed a residents action group and demanded the local council build a beautiful swamp with pretty flowers.

Mr Bonk Bonk Frog wanted purple flowers.

Bar Bar Black Sheep liked yellow flowers.

Little Jiminy Cricket wanted to play games all day.

Mr Muddle Puddle from the council said you can not have a swamp, I want a BBQ for cooking grilled frogs legs.

The Mayor, Chief Wiesel Words, decreed frogs are beautiful and rats stink.

Little Missy Princes told her fans, you should not eat frogs legs, they cause flatulation. Rats also flatulate.

A raging battle lasted for many years. Little Missy Princes lead the fight for more and bigger swamps. Mr Muddle Puddle lead the Local Community for Preservation of Heritage BBQs.

Many long and boring meetings with loud and vigorous speeches were held.

Facts slowly disappeared down the gurgler.

The truth became muddled in the puddle.

Every one shouted with glee when the frogs won.

A tribute was given to the frogs who lost a leg to the greedy BBQ

There was three cheers.

Frogs Rule

Frogs Rule

Frogs Rule.

If you go down to whites creek today?

You will discover the wetlands are jumping.

DIRTY DANCING

Worship the good soil
With beautiful young virgins
Dancing around the maypole
During the rites of spring

The world needs more plants
Psychedelic flowers
Red, yellow, green and blue
With a wiff of hemp.

Organic farming
Mix compost with dirt
Add smelly manure
Under the full moon.

Be kind to animals
Talk to earthworms
Pat a grub
Hug a centipede.

Pica Pica Pica
Eat gourmet dirt
Tasty podzol, salty solenetz
And spicy red kraznozem.

Smash concrete
Swing a sledge hammer
Throw a stick of gelignite
Jack hammer night and day.

Dedicated to hard working engineers who believe the environment is a barrier to the spread concrete.

To do loo

“went to the loo today
a very enjoyable event
first a little squirt
then a extravagant blurp
followed by exquisite relief
a meaningful swipe
and a smile from ear to ear.”

Gyrating with Zumba

I am a bit fat
with a little gut
no good on the beach
and swim like a rotund amoeba

Went to the gym
pushed weights
one two three
O’ so boring

Swimming was great
up and down
the Olympic pool
and froze in middle July

My local pub
had a great jazz band
danced all night
suffered all day

What is this Zumba?
wriggle my hips
wave my hands
with a charismic leader

The music was speedy
the girl on my left
the girl on my right
were all so speedy

Girlies rule
I was slow
two steps behind
with the grace of a gyrating amoeba

Where is my pride?
blokes rule
must keep going
more fun than a boring gym.

Then Sings Our Soul
Went singing today

With the grumbling grannies

The music was great

The songs were great

And our leader was O so great

We sang Jingle Bells

Leaning to the Left

A dry Bing Crosby

And our leader was O soo great

The sopranos were tuneful

The altos melodious

the bass forgetful

And our leader was O sooo great

We sang in Rozelle

Annandale next

Edinbough! here we come

With our leader who is O soooo great

I Saw the Light

Doctor said
you have DB
take these pills
or you will cease to be

O’o so depressing

I ran out of the room
down the stairs
out of the dark
and into light

I walked home
walked up to the shops
walked down to the park
walked along the bay.

Swam up and down
the cool cool pool
dug my garden
in the cool cool cool

Weight down
happiness up
sugars down
I won

Doctors are O’o so depressing

Golf in all seasons
a day in the club by the river

I love to play golf in the rain
wind whistling between my legs
water dripping down my neck
ducks gliding silently on the pond
pelicans meandering over the green
croak, croak, croak
frogs enjoy life in the wet
rivulets of water rush downhill
carrying toxic sprays
grateful worms welcome
clean water from up high
bounce, bounce, bounce
white balls roll along the fairway
plonk, plonk, plonk
they fall into the river
hidden by the red eroded soil
the game of golf continues
ordinary mortals do not know why

Summertime

It is summertime
The sun is shining
Temperature up
Girlies are on parade
They are so pretty
Short shorts
Long legs
Teeny tops
Bouncing boobs
O! I am getting old
Must go for a beer
Thats better
Where are the sheilas
What a stunning chick
Must chat her up
